Who really needs a Casino? I thought I needed a G5422 and was hunting for a good deal when I stumbled onto a 50th Anniversary Casino on Craigslist. I decided to check it out and even though the guitar was not set up well I could feel that the neck shape and the overall build of the guitar was great. I bonded with it immediately. I bought it and when I brought it home I was telling my wife that I got such a good deal on it I could probably turn around and sell it for double of what I paid for it. When I opened the case and she looked at it she said, surprisingly to me, "I think you should keep it." I was blown away that she said that so I did!

About a year ago I saw a used Tennessee Rose in Guitar Center. I thought I could possibly trade the Casino for it. I brought my Casino into the store and compared both guitars side by side. I really liked the Tennessee Rose but I ultimately went home with my Casino. I also brought it along with my Duo Jet to a recording session recently. I started using the Duo Jet for the first 2 songs and then the Casino for the last 2 songs. Both guitars were perfect. So, who really needs a Casino? As much as I tried not to need one it turns out it's a guitar that I keep coming back to organically. I've learned and have finally accepted that I need a Casino.

Here's a picture of me singing, playing the Casino with my hands and a bass drum and hi hat with a mounted tambourine with my feet to keep a beat. It's a fun challenge!

its here! As its not super hot, i only let it sit in the house for about a half hour. I dont know why they ship a guitar in one box and a case in the other. But i got two Boxes. Casino looks good, website says D’aDarios 10, but the ball ends are all the same color, and they feel like stock cheap strings. So after dinner they come off, fret board gets an oil coat , the new strings, and lower that bridge a tad. If everyone isn’t asleep by then it gets plugged into a amp. If they are asleep it goes into the spark mini with headphones. Update later and a photo.

I have done that on a few occasions during rehearsals, while yelling out chord changes . I showed that drummer who was who!
